MPU (300x250)
A square online advert usually found embedded in a web page in a fixed placement. Called ‘multiple purpose’ as it is a flexible shaped blank ‘canvas’ in which you can serve flat or more interactive content as desired. It is a high-performing ad unit that sits well within news-based content and wider websites.

Leaderboard (728x90)
This ad has a very high impact because of its large shape and now that users can cope with wider websites it has become an industry standard format, along with the MPU.

Skyscraper (120x600)
Skyscraper (or tower) adverts are best used for branding and product launching purposes as they have such a strong profile positions on pages and form a frame within which content can site.

Banner (468x60)
The original ad format is still around and has its place in the market - although we do try and advide clients to try and move over to 728x90 Leaderboards if possible to increase impact and improve ROI.
